Wish kid Joshua, 9, from Highgate, has been diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia and wished to get his driving license at LEGOLAND through the Ford Jr. Driving School in Florida.
With the help of Avonda Air Systems, we recently sent Josh, and his family, off on his wish!
Avonda Air Systems, and its employees, a Burlington-based HVAC service company, sponsored wish kid Joshua’s wish and several employees were able to attend Josh’s sendoff, and wish him a great trip! Wish Granters Sandy Lovelette and Patty Rainville created a license just for Josh, where he was able to practice for his license photo.
Tammy Avonda, of Avonda Air Systems, states, “Avonda wanted to adopt a wish because it’s about giving back. Our company, and employees, are part of this community and we wanted to be able to give back to our local community. Being part of Josh’s sendoff was heartwarming and made all of us truly feel connected to making this world a better place. Thanks for letting us experience that.”
Make-A-Wish Vermont is very grateful for Avonda Air Systems’ generosity in helping make wish kid Joshua’s wish come true!
