Charlotte loves the water and to spend time with her mom, dad and big brother Jackson. Even though Charlotte is not yet three years old, it was not hard to figure out what her wish would be.
Charlotte wanted to spend time with her family on the beach. So, with some help from Make-A-Wish Vermont, the family was off to a vacation in Brewster, Massachusetts, on Cape Cod.
In Charlotte's first 2.5 years, her family has been through more than many of us will go through in our entire lifetime. She persevered through several rounds of chemotherapy and surgeries. She is adorable, smart and a typical little girl.
Charlotte loves the color pink, Dora the Explorer and to play in the water. Charlotte worships her big brother, Jackson. With her Dora nightgown and bathing suit packed in her new suitcase, Charlotte and her family loaded up the car and set out for Cape Cod.
Charlotte and her family stayed in a beautiful cottage right on the water. They played in the ocean, went on bike rides, built sand castles and made memories that will last a lifetime.
"The best part of the vacation for our family was watching the kids run on the beach," said wish mom, Becca. "Both of our children know a little too much about doctor's visits, and words like tumor, cancer, and chemotherapy. This vacation allowed them to have fun and be themselves."
Added Becca, "this will be an experience that we will all talk about and remember for the rest of our lives. Thank you Make-A-Wish!"
