Wes is a key member of the Vermont Wish Project, a team of energetic young professionals from the Vermont community who have come together to support Make-A-Wish Vermont. In the past year, the Vermont Wish Project has hosted three mixers to raise money and awareness for Make-A-Wish Vermont and organized five relay teams for the 2014 Vermont City Marathon who together raised over $6,000 for Make-A-Wish Vermont.
Fellow team members credit Wes with much of the recent success of the Vermont Wish Project. When asked to describe his accomplishments, his colleagues report, “Wes has really taken charge with the rebranding and growth of the Vermont Wish Project. From the beginning, he has welcomed every new member and encouraged us to reach out to people we may feel would be a good fit for our VWP team. Wes has also willingly been a spokesperson for VWP, offering to make speeches and introductions at our events and meet with members of the Burlington community to not only help in our initiative to raise awareness for our cause, but to help collect donations. With the ability to make a team feel more like a family, and meetings feel more like social gatherings, there isn't one aspect of the Vermont Wish Project that he hasn't helped to improve.”
Make-A-Wish Vermont thanks Wes for his tremendous leadership with the Vermont Wish Project which recently hosted its fall mixer, the Fall Wish Harvest, at The Skinny Pancake in Burlington.
